From Service to Storytelling
My journey has taken many paths from serving as a U.S. Army veteran to managing properties in Philadelphia and now pursuing my degree in Psychology at South University. While these roles seem different, they all share a common thread: a commitment to community, family, and understanding the human experience.
Why "Storytime with Pop-Pop"?
The Storytime with Pop-Pop series was born out of a desire to create "teachable moments" that don't feel like lessons. As a grandfather, I saw a need for stories that validate a child’s big emotions while celebrating the safety and wisdom found in family bonds.
By blending my studies in psychology with my life experiences, I aim to create books that do more than just entertain. I want my stories to spark conversations between generations helping children feel seen and helping adults find the right words to guide them.
